With a deep, rich resonant
bass voice that is sure to please, Mark was originally raised on a farm in
South Dakota and lived most of his life in the Great Plains states of South
Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. In 2003, Mark, and his wife Delight, moved from
Des Moines Iowa and now make their home in Charlotte NC. From Minnesota to
Texas, Iowa to Virginia, Florida to Pennsylvania, and most states in between,
Mark has sung in churches, concert settings, state fair stages and hay racks
as a part of quartets, trios, duets and as a solo gospel artist. Having ministered
in song to so many people in so many different settings has been a great
blessing with the greatest reward being whenever a person finds a new personal
relationship with the Lord thorough whatever music ministry Mark was involved
with at the time.
“Having the chance
to deliver the greatest message of all is a privilege and honor beyond description.
Since music can touch the heart and soul in so many ways it is often best
to let the songs tell the story of the love shown for each of us. The ageless
message of Gods love delivered in song is one that reaches beyond the ear
and touches the very heart and soul of the listener. I sincerely hope and
pray that somehow, someone is touched by the message delivered in song by
Holy City Quartet and come to know the love of God because a song touched
their heart. I love singing with Holy City Quartet. They are some of the
best people I have ever had the privilege to meet.”
