Like the recent commercial for an insurance company ... "Sometimes life comes at you fast"
Sometimes it takes a real blow to our lives to get us to the place of surrendering everything we have to God. Mike Bolen and his wife lost their first child five months into the pregnancy, sending the couple into a spiral of doubts, fears, and questions. Despite the hard hit to the family, they persisted in their walk with God, and they surrounded themselves with a solid church, a loving family and good christian friends.
With the support of God, good friends and family, Mike and Lisa were able to overcome the trials that life had handed this young couple. God has been faithfull and good and has blessed Mike and Lisa with twin girls and a son that now make up that circle of family and friends that see them through each day.
Holy City Quartet is a direct result of the triumph over the trials that had been placed into their life. We sing of Gods love, forgiveness, help, and most importantly, his offer of redemption. We sing about going home and the ultimate reunion with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the reunion with our loved ones that have gone before. While life may come at us all very fast, we rejoice in the knowledge that God is always there and he's able to handle the rough times better than any insurance company could ever do. |

Booking now for the rest of 2009 and starting on 2010
Now is the time to reserve that date with Holy City Quartet in 2009 and even 2010. Every year we have people that call at the last minute and are disapointed to find that their date and time has already been booked by someone else. Make this the year you invite Holy City Quartet for your event before someone else get's that date and time. We encourage you to book your date as early as possible to get your special date reserved
before someone else decide's it's also their special date. Just

Trust in the Lord -
Do NOT trust Mapquest! There has to be a sermon in that somewhere - right? A while back we sang at the most incredible church in the Norway, SC area. The Willow Swamp Baptist Church is located on - what else, Willow Swamp Road just outside the town of Norway, SC.
Since Rod and Elizabeth were coming down from Hope Mills, NC, I was driving down from Charlotte, Mike and Gene, together with Mike's Mom and Dad - Paul and Mary Ann, were coming up from Charleston SC we had all decided to just meet at the church. Well, a funny thing happened on the way to the church. read more here
